Phase 1 — Set up your ANC project¶
Phase 2 — Convert raw data to BIDS¶
Skip this phase if your data is already in valid BIDS format
Convert your raw EEG data using a tool such as MNE-BIDS or the EEGLab BIDS plugin. Alternatively, the ANC provides its own EEG conversion pipeline for EDF and BrainVision files, with automatic event mapping and GitLab integration.

Session directories are mandatory
The ANC requires every participant directory to contain at least one session directory (e.g. sub-001/ses-01/), even for single-session studies. Make sure your conversion is configured accordingly before you start.
